What we're doing:

The Blog Council, the organization for social media executives at large companies, is studying how companies are staffing their social media functions. We want to learn:

  • Who works on social media
  • What department they work for
  • How much time they spend using social media
  • What they earn

Benefits of participation:

You will receive the top-line research as a thank you for participating. You can use the information to:

  • Benchmark your social media team against those of your peers
  • Justify your social media budget
  • Build the best possible social media team for your needs
  • Understand where investment or staffing changes are necessary

Instructions:

Please fill out full rows in the table below for people at your company who have been officially assigned to use social media. If you do not have exact answers, estimates are okay.

The survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete. All of your responses will be kept confidential; results will only be discussed in the aggregate. Company names will not be revealed, as they are only collected to eliminate potential duplicates.
